How Much Does a YouTube Sponsorship Cost in 2026?
The honest answer is a range, and the range is wide. For creators under 200k subscribers, which is where we work, a 60 to 90 second integration typically runs $500 to $8,000. A dedicated video runs two to four times that. I’ve seen a 40k-subscriber finance channel charge more than a 300k gaming channel, and the finance channel was worth it.
Why the ranges are so wide
Niche is the biggest variable. Finance and B2B software audiences are worth more per viewer because the products sold to them carry higher margins. A credit card signup or a SaaS seat justifies a $40+ CPM. A mobile game install does not. Gaming creators have bigger audiences but usually price at a $10 to $20 CPM for that reason.
The second variable is average views, not subscribers. A channel with 100k subscribers averaging 8,000 views per video should price off the 8,000. Plenty of creators don’t, which is why the media kit says one number and the analytics say another.
The third is what you’re actually buying. An integration where the creator holds the product and reads three talking points is the base price. Usage rights, exclusivity, a link in the description for a year, approval rounds beyond one revision: each of these costs extra, and should.
A rough table to sanity-check a quote
For an under-200k channel, per sponsored placement: gaming integrations $500 to $3,000, tech and AI $1,500 to $6,000, finance $2,500 to $8,000. Dedicated videos scale up from there. If a quote lands far outside these bands, there’s either something special about the audience or something wrong with the math. Both are worth asking about.
